As a community development organization, RuralEdge is working every day, not only to provide safe and affordable housing, but also to ensure that the communities in which our residents live have the resources and opportunities to enrich lives and connect with neighbors.
Many RuralEdge properties include public meeting spaces and community rooms designed to bring local residents together, whether for a community conference, a Martin Luther King Day gathering, a forum of political candidates, or a meeting to discuss development in the town.
Additionally, many of our public spaces already host outreach programs, like the food shelf at the Mountain View Apartments in St. Johnsbury, or the community meal site at the Darling Inn in Lyndonville.
Because our organization is dedicated to sustainability, we are always looking for future potential developments, including educational facilities and social services sites, as we work to meet community needs.
